Swinging into Tulip Time

Since the monkey swings in the backyard did not work well for the younger grandchildren, we added a kiddie swing which Sophie really enjoys.

We also did the usual Tulip Time visits to downtown, and the tulips seemed especially beautiful this year. I really liked the lacy look of these purple and white ones, as did Elinore. Even the tulips in our front yard were worth photographing this year. Perhaps there will be some pictures later showing the ridiculously unhealthy food we ate--but so enjoyed.

It's really hard for me to imagine living in Holland without this annual good time. We even took in a couple of the shows this year. Now it's back to normal until next May.
