As the grandchildren get older, they are able to share experiences and make some memories which hopefully they will remember in later years. I still remember some of the good times I had with my cousins many years ago. 
Sam and Gabe have been able to share sleepovers and some arctic hiking along the Lake Michigan beach.
When we celebrated Noah's first birthday, Elinore could not wait until he openedthe present from her family--a hat her mom had made for Noah.
He kept it on for a longtime as he enjoyed one of his other gifts--a swing. There were many volunteers to push him on the swing, including sister Sophie.
