For those of you that don't know, Lydia comes to our house for a couple hours on Wednesday mornings. So far, both times, they have had a theological discussion while sitting at the table for their snack. The first time it was about how big God is. This past time it went like this:
Elinore: Lydia...Lydia...Lydia...
Lydia: What?
Elinore: (pause) Lydia, what was I going to say?
Lydia: I don't know.
E: Mama, what was I going to say to Lydia?
Me: I don't know.
L: God knows.
E: What?
L: God knows what you were going to say. You should ask him.
E: God, what was I going to say to Lydia? (pause) He didn't answer.
I can't wait for next week!
