More of San Antonio

Here are a few more pictures of our time in San Antonio. The only time we took a trolley was to go to the Market Square (El Mercado) where you can buy anything southwestern. Eating at the Buckhorn was quite an experience as we were surrounded by wild animals mounted on all the walls and the ceiling.
San Antonio is also home to several very old, beautiful cathedrals, reminiscent of those in Europe. The last picture is of the lobby of the hotel we stayed in. It was over 100 years old and a reminder of former days of glory (now in a neighborhood of many vacant buildings in need of restoration). Since we went to San Antonio, we've talked with many people who have gone there, and everyone seems to think it is a place well worth visiting. We agree!

Wow, that hotel looks amazing! Looks like you covered a lot of ground in a short time.
