Since we dragged out Brian's childhood collection of Legos, Sam has done hardly anything else. The once treasured "cars and trucks" have been put on the back burner. He spends atleast three hours a day playing with the Legos, now! He always has something in mind that he wants one of us to build, (He is learning that Papa is much better at this than Mama) and is growing in confidence to build his own. Here are a couple samples.
On a different note, today was the mark of my 16th week of pregnancy. I feel OK, very tired, but what can I expect, right? Sam came to the appointment to hear the heartbeat which, he thought, sounded like a giraffe. So, if you ever wondered what a giraffe sounds like...
Brian finished installing new countertops and sink this week. They look amazing and I am so proud of his abilities. We plan to paint the purple cupboards a dark blue...sooner or later.

Gabe is also into legos these days which isn't too much of a surprise considering the cool stuff that he received from his cousins. He sometimes makes towers, but for the most part, he sticks to vehicles. It's just another form of the car/truck obsession.
