We could not have had a better trip, except for the weather. It rained all but one day, and we could have used warmer clothes. We are SO glad we went.

And Finally.....
Our final stop was Maastricht, another lovely, very old city. The Maas River runs through it, and both the East Side and the West Side deserve exploring. We hope to go back sometime. Bicycles rule in the Netherlands, and cars seem an intrusion. Dad did love driving our rental car, a little Mercedes Benz and would love to have taken it back to the States with us.

Love seeing your photos! That first one is so striking - the bright white houses against a grayish sky and river. I'm so glad you had such a wonderful trip.
